Celebrating the historic trumpet/saxophone partnerships of jazz!, think of Miles Davis/John Coltrane, Chet Baker/Gerry Mulligan or Clifford Brown/Harold Land. Trumpeter Stuart Henderson and award-winning saxophonist Karen Sharp join forces to celebrate the music of these partnerships from the 40s 50s and 60s! With Leon Greening on piano, Marianne Windham on bass and Alfonso Vitale on drums. Opening set from the Farnham Big Band. Enjoy outstanding musicianship in the relaxed atmosphere of this most beautiful of settings, raising money for GUTS, fighting bowel cancer.
